It got dark fairly early when I was in Namibia, so I thought I'd have a little play with flashes and torches.
Most of these shots are comps. With the camera locked off on a tripod, I wandered around the subject flash-in-hand, firing my camera with a remote whilst pointing my flash at different parts of the scene, and then comping the lit sections together in Photoshop.
The last shot is just good old-fashioned long exposure whilst painting-with-light using a torch.
