Okay, I got to ask (bare in mind you're more like a professor type and i'm more like a geeky student type).. HOW do you achieve such clarity of color? Are these all HDR or... what? Grantet my trip to north was mostly foggy, but somehow I believe you could have handled that if you were me...
Thank you. Actually most of these are HDR. I tend to prefer shooting this way for landscape shots or any time I want to enhance texture. And HDR really does help to add some clarity when the subject lacks contrast such as when it's foggy or really overcast. The trick is to not over-do it in Photomatix, HDR works best when it's subtle.
I am yet to master this technique, but I am adamant in my intent to do it. Sometimes I think when the photographer cannot even do nature justice, this isn't something (s)he should tolerate, haha. Thank you very much for your advice!
