Some Sunday Souvenir Snowglobes!
Just got back from the Peak District, I bring badgers from Castleton!
And from Canada - we have racoons!
Airport shops are one of the best places to get shots of really bad souvenirs. These 2 were shot in Dublin airport - the combination of cliche, cheese and stereotype is just fantastic!!
Whenever I am away from home I'm always drawn to those cheesey souvenir shops just to take a few shots of the over-priced and crappy tourist tat (in fact the crappier the better). Why photograph the Eiffel Tower (it's already been done a billion times) when you can photograph dozens of cheap 'n' nasty Eiffel Tower snowglobes instead!!!
Thought I'd post some from our New Year in Windsor and also make this a regular feature.
